History
What started out as a hobby, turned into a full time career. I love all the pets, they always teach me something new. I love this business. I don't ever want to retire. I started working from a vet clinic and did not advertise, my business grew from my happy customers. I moved into my own building four years later in the town of Chester, CA. Finally in 2011, I moved the business to my property and I am working from a rental cabin, which is very quaint and homey. We put in a large fenced yard for the Doggie Daycare that has lots of shade trees, slopes, a rock garden and lots of cool grass. Avonna's Critter Clippers is located on the eastshore of Lake Almanor and the view is beautiful. Pet owners are welcome to wait in the lounge area. Be prepared to have an average wait of 1 1/2 hours for a complete groom.

Avonna is an amazing groomer that we have gone to for years. I have 2 full size collies and they always come out looking great. She is very patient with their wacky behavior too.
