History

Tammo, co-founder of MODe, started working with a cycling coach and nutritionist in 2014 and was encouraged to move from synthetic supplements to fresh foods to fuel his workouts. Eating healthy is simple- eat chicken and broccoli not cheeseburgers. Eating for sports performance is complicated. Athletes need carbs, proteins, fats, and sugars in the right quantities to support the demands they place on their bodies, requiring an understanding of physiology, biochemistry, and nutrition and most people don't have to time to learn it all. Tammo certainly fell into this category, so he teamed up with Nikki, a friend and successful entrepreneur. Together, they developed a line of all-natural products for athletes that are scientifically-based, performance-oriented, ready to consume, taste great, and provide all the necessary nutrients needed to meet the body's demands throughout the day.
