Anaheim Police Association was incorporated in 1967. It is the only recognized bargaining unit for the men and women serving as police officers in the City of Anaheim. The APA is community minded and strives to participate in activities and programs that will improve the quality of life in the City of Anaheim. Every year, the APA donates money and time to benefit numerous charities, groups and organizations in Anaheim and throughout Orange County. The Goal of Anaheim Police Association is to advance the professional, educational, economic and social welfare of its members, and to improve the fraternity of its members. The Anaheim Municipal Employees Association (AMEA) is a member-driven nonprofit organization founded in 1946, dedicated to advocating for the rights and benefits of approximately 600 general and clerical employees in Anaheim. With a volunteer Board of Directors and Executive Officers, all of whom are City employees, AMEA ensures that the voices of its members are heard and represented in workplace matters. Through its partnership with the Orange County Employees Association, AMEA provides access to skilled labor representatives and essential support for addressing workplace issues. The organization operates under a democratic structure, allowing only members in good standing to participate in key decisions, while all employees benefit from the protections of AMEA's collective bargaining agreements with the City of Anaheim. Founded in 1948, the Santa Ana Educators' Association is the exclusive representative of the non-management certificated employees, such as teachers and educational support staff, in the Santa Ana Unified School District. We have about 2600 members and are affiliated with the California Teachers Association and the National Education Association. As a union we negotiate the wages and working conditions of our bargaining unit members as well as help them navigate the local and state bureaucracies. As an organization we are committed to improving and protecting public education and the civil rights and general welfare of children and teachers.
