Asian Pacific Health Care Venture

Founded in 1986, Asian Pacific Health Care Venture, also known as APHCV, is a community health center that offers a range of medical care services to low-income families and underserved Asians and Pacific islanders. Its maternal and child unit assists expectant mothers with a variety of health care services. The center s medical services include pediatric, prenatal and senior care. It conducts an Adult and Senior Service Program. The center s outreach and education programs include breast, cervical colon cancer and HIV/AIDS prevention education. It also provides information on sexually transmitted infections, diabetes prevention, tobacco control, teen pregnancy and lead poisoning. Additionally, Asian Pacific Health Care Venture provides immunizations for various diseases.
