Ashtiani Ramin MD

Dr. Ashtiani is a native of Iran who is now naturalized in the States. He came to the United States after completion of medical school in December of 1994. He has always been passionate about the field of cardiology. He started working as a research associate in the field of cardiology at VA Loma Linda and then Mount Sinai New York for three years. His research interest extended throughout residency, fellowships and private practice. He has published numerous scientific papers during these periods. He finished his Internal Medicine residency at Mount Sinai Hospital /Elmhurst Hospital in NY for three years. He then joined Mount Sinai, NY for his cardiology fellowship for another three years. Eventually, he completed his education at Texas Heart Institute/Baylor School of Medicine in the field of cardiac electrophysiology. His interests are in cardiac arrhythmia, ablation, pacemakers, defibrillators and congestive heart failure.
