Dr. Mark Sockell is a specialist in internal medicine and geriatrics. Since 2013 Dr. Sockell has been the Medical Director at Novato Care Center, the largest rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility in Marin County. Before coming to Novato, he spent much of his career in medical education. As the Director of Medical Education at St. Mary's Medical Center in San Francisco he founded and ran the inpatient hospitalist program. Dr. Sockell prides himself on conscientious and compassionate care. He feels privileged to be in a practice situation where he can care for his patients in an outpatient setting.
