The gallery's mission is to exhibit the San Francisco Bay Area's most innovative art and photography for cutting edge collectors. Originally located in Healdsburg, California, the gallery moved to its current location in Santa Rosa, California in 2015. HistoryChristine has been teaching art in elementary schools since 1996. Young At Art was began in 2008 as an after school enrichment program in the Rincon Valley School District, and has been steadily expanding ever since!SpecialtiesBegin your journey into the world of art at Young At Art. Our school creates a noncompetitive environment where all students can explore their artistic talent in a comfortable, supportive atmosphere. We believe that learning to draw is a teachable skill and that anyone can learn to draw! Our mission is to guide students to express their creativity on paper, by teaching them the basic elements of art - line, shape, proportion, perspective, color, light and shadow. Students will learn about drawing faces, their favorite animals, perspective in landscapes, seascapes, and still lives using step-by-techniques. Artwork will be enhanced with different medias and colors. They'll also have fun sculpting 3 dimensional clay pieces and applying ceramic glaze paint to create colorful kiln-fired works of art.
