Armenian Heritage Museum
The Armenian Museum of Fresno, established in 2003 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is dedicated to showcasing the contributions of Armenians and Armenian-Americans to California, particularly the Central Valley. Located at the University of California Center Exhibition Hall, the museum features rotating exhibitions of fine and performing arts that enrich the cultural landscape of Central California.
Current exhibitions include "Spirit of Artsakh," highlighting the history, faith, geography, culture, and heritage of Artsakh, and "Armenian Journey From Shattered Past to Prosperity," co-curated with the California Museum of Sacramento to commemorate the Armenian Genocide. The museum also hosts ArtHop Night exhibitions every third Thursday of the month, fostering community engagement and appreciation for Armenian heritage.
