HistoryCurrently planning on establishing a large studio space to handle up to 12 students at a time.SpecialtiesSmartistic is an art studio in Los Angeles run by local artist Jay Battikha, offering art classes in drawing and oil painting. Each student has their own easel in a well-lit space along with a work table and basic supplies. All supplies are provided in the first class, along with any information students need to know about materials to get for continued in-class drawing or painting. Beginners are guided on the basics along with any others in class. After the start of a painting or drawing, Jay guides students at any stage where assistance is need and will teach how to achieve confidence in reaching desired results. With each new work students do, Jay helps them gain additional understanding and success in their art.
