Established in 1968, the White House Counseling Center is located in Carmichael, Calif. The center specializes in providing guidance counseling services to students and their parents. It conducts low-cost counseling sessions. The White House Counseling Center provides services to students who suffer from behavioral and emotional disorders. The center offers counseling on school-, work- and home-related issues. In addition, it organizes several training programs. The center is supported by the Department of Health and Human Services and the California Alta Regional Center. The White House Counseling Center is a part of the San Juan Unified School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools.

Founded in 1982, the Central Valley Training Center, also known as CVTC, provides training and support services for the employees of the Central Valley, Calif. The center provides day programs to serve and support individuals and offers behavioral management services. The Central Valley Training Center also offers services related to daily living in homes and communities. It also administers various additional behavior management programs in Fresno, Modesto and Merced, Calif. The center offers services in employment training, community integration and self advocacy. The Central Valley Training Center also provides Child and Adult Respite and Educational Services (CARES). The center assists individuals with developmental disabilities in replacing challenging behaviors with socially acceptable behaviors. It offers facility- and community-based training services that include social effectiveness training and team and structured teaching. The Central Valley Training Center maintains its administrative office in Stockton, Calif.
