Animal Rescue Volunteers (ARV) is a non-profit dog rescue group based in Simi Valley, CA, dedicated to the welfare of abandoned and abused animals. They do not maintain a shelter but instead rescue animals in need and place them in foster homes. ARV focuses on saving pregnant mommas, dogs that do not show well in shelters, elderly dogs, and those that have been injured or hit by cars.

ARV holds pet adoptions every Saturday at R&R Pet Lifestyle and Supply in Simi Valley, where potential adopters can meet and greet the dogs by appointment only after an interview. They rely on donations to cover expenses such as vaccinations, medications, vet visits, and surgical procedures, as well as providing board and training for special cases. By providing loving homes and financial support, ARV successfully rescues and places these wonderful animals in forever homes.
