Being in Monterey, we wanted to grab some drinks. Well more like we were done with our day and wanted some relaxation before we went to bed so we explored the area and went bar hopping...kind of....

First timer here but will definitely be back. This place is a bit hidden. You have to walk down stairs from Lalla and then you're there. It has an old looking ship decor with classy jazz music...

Still the same story. My friends wanted to stop in here because they have a decent view and it's on the strip. First thing I see is Hypnotic on the counter and a revamped menu with NEW sugary...

I was going to complain I got the typical "locals service", as in the average place on cannery row (or many places in the Monterey Peninsula and Carmel) doesn't care about providing good service...
