Andrew Jackson Elementary School

Andrew Jackson Elementary School is an educational institution that offers a variety of learning opportunities to students. It is located in Selma, Calif., and enrolls more than 650 children in kindergarten through grade six. The school conducts classes in English, math, science and social studies. It features a family literacy program called Partners in Print, as well as the Books and Beyond reading incentive program. Andrew Jackson Elementary School has a parent club that sponsors a Fall Festival, Spring Carnival and family movie nights. It employs a staff of intervention specialists, yard duty supervisors and campus aides. The school is a part of the Selma Unified School District, which was founded in 1878 and operates Eric White Elementary School, Heartland Alternative School and Abraham Lincoln Middle School.
