Andrew Daniel Karas, MD - Optum - Arcadia

Andrew Karas, MD, practices internal medicine as a hospitalist. Dr. Karas earned his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine in New York. He completed his internship and residency at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. As a hospitalist, Dr. Karas diagnoses and treats critically ill patients who need immediate care. This sense of urgency motivates him to give them the best possible medical care as quickly as possible. Dr. Karas cares for his patients in a light-hearted manner, which helps put them at ease during sometimes stressful situations. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, friends and dog. He especially likes watching the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team. In addition to English, he speaks fluent Arabic and basic Spanish.
