The Coast Surgery Center provides a variety of surgical services for children, youths, adults and senior citizens. The center is fully licensed by the state of California and the Federal Medicare Program. It is recognized by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. Founded in 1999, the Coast Surgery Center performs more than 3,500 surgeries every year and employs over 40 physicians. The center operates general surgery, orthopedics, pain management, plastic surgery and podiatry departments. It is a part of United Surgical Partners International, which is an international surgery company partnered with local physicians. The Coast Surgery Center is located in Torrance, Calif.
