History

I have been working with children for the past six years, but I knew that experience alone would not be enough for me to reach my potential. Fortunately, there are many different sources of information related to child care and development. To start, I studied and completed certifications in the following areas: Early Childhood Education, Home Family Child Care, Responsible Health Practices, Child Nutrition, and Emergency Preparedness & Evacuation Procedures. To improve my understanding of early child education, I have taken classes and attended talks in my community. It's incredible to me how many people in San Francisco are talking about and working to improve the conditions that our youngest citizens face daily. I can see that this is a lifelong process, one that will inspire me to continue learning and loving, so that our kids can share their joy and curiosity in a safe, positive, and nurturing environment. And I cannot think of a better place in the world to pursue this career.
