Hi! I am Amy Leist, a outdoor lifestyle elopement, wedding, and portrait photographer based in the spectacular Eastern Sierra. In my previous life, I worked as a wildlife biologist and spent my time in the field photographing wildlife and landscapes in Hawaii, Alaska, Idaho, and Chile to name a few. When I settled down a bit and moved to the great basin in 2006, my focus shifted to photos of people as my friends began to get married and start families.
So come, all you engaged couples, expecting mamas, newborn babies, children of all ages, teenagers celebrating a graduation, furry friends, and parents in all your stages of life with as many generations as you can muster: let me document this precious moment in your life. I will do so with respect, emotion, and all the care and energy I have to give. Let me ramble with you to a place that you hold dear, or to a new location we can explore together. Let me get to know you a little bit so I can create photos and short films of the real you.
