I am inspired everyday by the spirit of my mother and grandmother, who are from Italy, near a small town in Rome. My grandmother, who I'm named after, came to me in a dream and told me to be happy, to follow my passion, and create meals with love. Cooking from the heart runs deep in my family where food is homemade, fresh, and made with plenty of love. I bring this philosophy to everything I make and was moved to name my business Amore Kitchen! At Amore Kitchen, I offer kid's and adult cooking classes and boutique catered events. With my background as a school teacher for many years, I find teaching kids and adults to cook very gratifying! Food and classes can range from authentic dishes that have been in my family for decades to teaching kids simple, fun recipes. Customized events for adults including parties (birthdays, anniversaries, etc...), private cooking lessons (baking, Italian, breakfast, etc...), party Chef-on-the-Spot (chef cooks, you eat), corporate catering and team building events. Customized events for kids include cooking camps that include lessons in etiquette, nutrition, cooking skills, and more, earn culinary Girl Scout badges, parent/child bonding experience, home school enrichment classes. All fresh, all made with amore!
