History

American Shoe Repair opened its doors in 1941 on Broadway Ave. in the heart of downtown San Diego. In July of 2009 after 68 years in one location, this downtown staple still serves San Diegans from its new location at 9th and E st. in the East Village.

Specialties

We repair heels, soles, boots, straps, elastics, rips, stretch, taps, lifts, and other leather goods. Bags, purses, belts, wallets. Shoe shining and leather cleaning. Full dye department.
