Ambrose Recreation & Park Dist

Founded in 1946, the Ambrose Recreation and Park District serves the recreational needs of individuals and families in Bay point, Calif., and surrounding areas. It offers space for wedding receptions, birthday parties, social events, business meetings, anniversary celebrations, prom nights, and family and community gatherings. The Ambrose Recreation and Park District has several parks and a community center that features an auditorium, kitchen, patio, computer laboratory, swimming pool and pavilion, as well as dinning, conference, meeting and weight rooms. It offers nutritional and fitness programs for youths, adults and senior citizens. Additionally, the district provides after-school, youth and holiday programs, as well as conducts recreational activities, special events, and sports tournaments and leagues.
