History

When Debbie and Jim were married 31 years ago, Debbie brought with her a rather unusual dowry - a herd of register4ed Pygmy Goats. Currently they maintain a small herd of between 20-30 goats. Jim and Debbie have always believed that quality is better than quantity.

Established in 1982 in Norco, California, Amber Waves is committed to producing high-quality, registered African Pygmy Goats for breeding, showing and family pets. Over the years Amber Waves has become an industry leader whose customers include Hollywood Elite and International dignitaries from around the world. Kidding's are available year-round and may be shipped nationally and internationally. In addition to the African Pygmy goats Amber Waves also breeds Bearded Bantam Silkie Chickens, Black Copper French Marans, Blue Slate Turkeys, and Sebastopol Geese. All of our animals come with life-time support. Both Amber Waves Silkie sand Pygmy goats have been featured on national TV. Visitors are always welcome by appointment.
