History

My training in Traditional Chinese Medicine began at the Acupressure Institute in Berkeley, where I studied several forms of massage, Five Element Theory, and pulse diagnosis. I then completed the four year Master's program at The American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, where I was trained extensively in acupuncture and herbal medicine, earned a certificate in Tui-na massage, and completed my internship at the school clinic. During school I interned at Dr.Lifang Liang's acupuncture fertility clinic, and studied with two highly esteemed local acupuncturists/herbalists: Bob Levine in Berkeley and Dr. Kang, of Asia Natural Herbs. Upon earning my license, I began working at the fertility clinic part time as an acupuncturist, and I helped open and manage a second clinic in Palo Alto for Dr. Kang. In 2006 I opened my own private practice in San Francisco, and have been grateful to be a part of my clients growth towards ever greater health and happiness.

Specialties

I offer my patients the full range of Traditional Chinese Medicine therapies: acupuncture, herbs, cupping, moxibustion and nutritional counseling. I specialize in women's health, mood disorders, and cosmetic acupuncture. In addition I incorporate amino acid or neuro-nutrient therapy as popularized by Julia Ross, author of 'The Mood Cure' and 'The Diet Cure'.
