Amapola Deli & Market is a well-established Mexican deli that originated as a small family-owned business in Los Angeles in 1961. Founded by Don Francisco Galvan and his son Carlos, the deli initially offered a limited selection of authentic Mexican products, including cheese, chorizo, salsa, menudo, carnitas, tortillas, and tamales. Over the years, the business expanded and evolved into a successful company in the tortilla industry, encompassing a tortilla factory, meat market, bakery, service deli, and grocery store.
Under the leadership of Carlos B. Galvan, who took over from his father in 1970, Amapola Deli & Market has become a trusted name in the community, catering to the specific needs of the growing Hispanic population. With a commitment to quality and authenticity, the company continues to provide a wide range of Mexican food products and services, ensuring a delightful culinary experience for its customers.
