Had an amazing experience with these folks! So happy to be living in a county that actually cares about animals.

We have had some issues where we live with dogs roaming free. The group at the shelter are aware of these dogs, and have called the owners so that we can return the dogs safely to their owners....

I just adopted this lovely guinea pig from Amador County Animal Control. She has made a great addition to my other guinea pigs. All the staff was kind and caring. I'm glad there is a safe place...

I found a dog on the side of the road in Plymouth and he had no tags but was microchipped. The vet wasn't able to find the chips information so I had to call the shelter the day they were closed....
