Founded in 1956 as a fabrication shop in a small garage, Alvarado Manufacturing designs, develops, manufactures and markets entrance security, patron flow and physical asset protection products. The company specializes in waist high and full height turnstiles, optical turnstiles, security gates, counting systems, admission control, queuing systems and other access control equipment and software. Alvarado products for leisure and entertainment venues include ticket validation and patron counting software, scanning turnstile, pedestals and handheld scanners. Its products for pedestrian queuing and patron flow include post and rail systems, turnstiles, gates and portable stanchions. In addition, the company markets a full-line of asset protection products, including floor mounted bumper systems, case guards, crash bollards and Alvarado's proprietary Watchman collision avoidance alarm for warehouses. Alvarado Manufacturing maintains its corporate headquarters and manufacturing facilities in Chino, Calif.
