History
The Alpine Delicatessen was opened by Marge and Ken Geldermann in the early seventies, offering deli meats and cheeses, and serving quality cold sandwiches to go, along with beer and soft drinks. After several different owners and changes, the current Alpine Deli and Pizza company is operated with a blend of the ideas that previous owners have had, as well as a few new ideas of our own. We still serve cold sandwiches, but now we offer oven-toasted hot sandwiches as well. Our pizza is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Our food is served to take out, but there are a few outdoor sidewalk tables nearby.
Specialties
Our sandwiches and pizza are made with some of the freshest ingredients obtainable here in the mountains. Have us create your generously sized custom sandwich, either cold or toasty, with our selection of deli meats, cheeses and vegetarian options, or you may choose one of our specialty sandwiches such as the in-house smoked Tri-Tip barbecue style, an Italian Sub with mortadella, salami, prosciutto and provolone, or our classic Reuben. Our pizzas are hand-prepared from scratch, with our special recipe dough, delicious sauce, mozzarella cheese, your choice of toppings, and freshly baked according to your order.

The perfect lunch spot especially after a morning hike. The sandwiches were delicious and mouth watering. They also serve fresh squeezed Arnold Palmer which I also ordered (highly recommend)....
I don't usually like pizza, but I love this pizza. I hope you guys open again soon! Hours were tricky even when they were open, but it was worth checking on the schedule!
Tuna salad was the daily special with the Ruben. Amazing sandwiches, fresh squeezed lemonade plus the best chocolate chip cookies! Don't miss out.
It was 855pm and we stopped at this deli to get a sandwich. Well I never got the sandwich. We saw pizza on the menu and ended up getting the supreme large. Let me say...DAMN GINA! This pizza...
