Alliance for Community Research and Development

Over 40 year old non-profit organization dedicated to giving scholarships to the youth of the community of Tracy. The organization and the community join together to make sure the kids in the Tracy Latin Community go to college through fundraising and special events.

Merced County Community Action Agency is a nonprofit organization that serves low-income groups, children, senior citizens, and physically and mentally challenged individuals. The organization has various departments, such as self-sufficiency, housing, energy assistance, community service, program support, information systems, and child and family development. It organizes educational programs for children and adults with multiple disorders. The agency offers preschool and after school tutorials and care to students. It also organizes nutritional and dietary planning seminars and events with the Head Start Society, Project Cherish and Meal-On-Wheels. The organization assists customers with applications for utility assistance and provides information about referrals and public assistance.
