Established in 1964, Allen Avenue Elementary School provides a range of educational programs to more than 500 students in kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes math, social studies, history, English, reading, writing, language arts, science, computer technology, foreign languages and physical education. The school provides the Gifted And Talented Education program. It additionally maintains a student council that organizes a variety of social activities, such as meetings and fundraising. The school also operates a parent-teacher association that serves as a resource for students, parents and staff.
