Dr. Shravani R. Reddy is a board-certified UCI Health gastroenterologist who specializes in esophageal disorders. Her clinical interests include gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), achalasia, Barrett's esophagus and esophageal cancer.She earned her medical degree at American University of the Caribbean in Pembroke Pines, Fla. She completed a residency in internal medicine followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology, both at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine in Roanoke. Reddy provides comprehensive care to a diverse patient population with various gastrointestinal conditions. She has a particular interest in esophageal disorders and has completed additional training through the American Neurogastroenterology Motility Society. She has a passion for medical education and has taken an active role in various teaching capacities, including curriculum development and procedure-based instruction.

Dr. Ronald J. Rivera is a board-certified UCI Health physician who specializes in emergency medical care. He earned his medical degree at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in Los Angeles, followed by a residency in emergency medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. He also completed fellowship training in multimedia design and educational technology at the UCI School of Medicine. His academic focus is on the social determinants of health, community outreach, harm reduction strategies, gender-affirming care and healthcare equity. He is currently developing one of the first teaching programs for medical students on care for LGBTQ+ patients as well as empathy training when working with at-risk patient populations.
