Dr. William T. Kuo is an award-winning physician, clinical researcher, innovator, educator, and patient advocate. He was born in St. Louis, MO and attended high school in Southeast Missouri where he graduated valedictorian. He attended college at Duke University where he received a BS degree with honors. He earned an MD degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine with distinction in radiology, winning the Meschan Award for radiology excellence. His surgical internship was accomplished at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, WA.

Dr. Lisa Shieh, MD, PhD, is a highly qualified hospitalist and Clinical Professor of Medicine at Stanford University, specializing in internal medicine. With an impressive educational background that includes a PhD from MIT and an MD from Harvard Medical School, she has dedicated her career to improving patient care and medical education. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Shieh holds several leadership positions, including Medical Director for Quality in the Department of Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine. Payam Massaband received his Bachelors degree in Neuroscience at UCLA in 1998 and MD degree at USC in 2002. Dr. Massaband has been a staff radiologist at the VA Palo Alto since graduating from Radiology residency and fellowship at Stanford in 2010. Dr. Massaband concentrated on imaging of the cardiovascular and musculoskeletal organ systems in fellowship. As chief of the Radiology Service at VA Palo Alto since 2012, he has concentrated on clinical excellence, process improvement and residency education.
