History

Alexis J. Estevez is an award-winning Video Editor and Adobe Premiere Pro Tutor with over 15 years of experience editing everything from feature films to social media videos. Born in Brooklyn, New York Alex grew up in LA's South Bay. He loved drawing and even illustrated his own comic books as a teenager. After high school, Alex attended Otis College of Art and Design where he fell in love with filmmaking during a class video assignment. He moved back to New York City where he edited several short films and his first feature film. After returning to LA, Alex won several awards for various commercial works and began teaching video editing to share his passion for storytelling.

Hello! My name is Alex and I can provide expert advice on your current edit and/or step-by-step guidance through video editing basics using the newest features of Adobe Premiere Pro. Most of my students are beginners who learn both HOW to edit and WHY to edit. I conduct my private, customized lessons online via video chat to move at your pace and level of experience.
