AK Press is a worker run book publisher and distributor organized around anarchist principles. All decisions, including which titles we distribute and what we publish, are made collectively. Our goal is to make available radical books and other materials, titles that are published by independent presses, not the corporate giants, titles with which you can make a positive change in the world. You can order through our website, or stop by our Oakland warehouse--it's open to the public, but please call first to make sure we're around and not in meetings. I love AK Press, they have all the classics in all areas of politics and even some literature classics, plus t-shirts, DVD's, etc. Bookstores/Press co. like this are what are keeping some people...
