Afghan Lapis Jewelry

History

In 1977 a man wanted to buy a diamond for his wife's 10th anniversary, being that he had never given his wife one before. A relative referred him to a diamond importer, where he was taught all of the different characteristics of a diamond. Not only did this man buy the diamond for his wife, but he also decided to use all of his family's savings of $1000 to buy gold jewelry to sell. From that point on he sold his intitial investment and continued to reinvest and build his small business. In 1979 he opened his small store from in a both in The Encino Jewelry Mart. Nearly 34 years later that small store is still standing in the same spot with the same man and his immence inventory and large clientle.
