Advocate to Educate

It all started when our founder Eryn began as a special education classroom aide. After 15 years in the field as an aide, teacher, educational therapist, and now a Board Certified Education Advocate, she noticed that kids with learning differences were spending six, straight hours at school and not having their needs met. They continued to be behind in various academic areas and needed extra intervention that should have been a part of their IEP process. Eryn realized that if we focused on efficient special education services, effective collaboration with the school team and educating parents of their rights and resources, families would have better long-term outcomes. From this idea alone Advocate to Educate was born.
