History

In 1999, Janet Council, my sister's best friend, and my old business partner, wanted a dog and couldn't have one. She found herself at a place where she needed to do something fresh in her life for employment and met a dog walker at a Cafe on Market Street. She thought that it would be a great idea to do as this woman did and start a dog walking business, thus enabling her to have dogs and work & making a living. She talked about it with my sister and then I got a call from my sister, not Janet, asking if I wanted to start a dog walking business with Janet. Janet knew that I was a great animal lover and I had just quit my job as well, so it was great timing. I told Janet,yes,through my sister Linda,and that was it. I, Brenda Wachhorst, owner of Adios Dog Walking became a dog walker. On that day, my journey of learning and getting to love so many dogs began.
