Adastra Wine & Art

We are a small, family-owned enterprise making limited-production wines from our certified organic vineyard in the Napa Carneros. Visit our tasting room on Sonoma's historic Plaza. We offer tastes of five wines for $20. Chris Thorpe, the vineyard owner, is often in the tasting room, conducting tastings in his unique style. From 50 cases in 1995 to fewer than 1,500 cases per year today, our focus has always been on producing the highest quality estate-grown Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah and Merlot. In addition to the Adastra label, our portfolio includes the Boundless Optimism and Ed's Red brands. Our name, Adastra, is taken from the Latin saying Per aspera, ad astra which translates to "Through striving, to the stars."
