History

Ada's Lodges opened the premier eldercare facilities of Mission lodge and Monterey Lodge in 2009. The lodges are owned and operated by Kathy Tucker and her husband Gary. These first lodges were inspired by Kathy's search for the perfect spot for her aging grandmother, Ada. Each of these lodges have 10 rooms and their own kitchen and family areas, making them feel homelike and encouraging personalized care. Lic. 405801612

Specialties

Mission Lodge is equipped with wireless call systems, and all levels of care are included in the monthly rate. All rooms have hook up sites for telephones, and television service included in room rate. Medication management, safety monitoring, meals and meal assistance, special diets, snacks, and activities are included. Mission Lodge also provides incontinent supplies, hygiene supplies, and housekeeping and laundry services. Spaces for activities, visiting and exercise are available. Outdoor patios are furnished with comfortable chairs and tables for activities or visiting. Hospice care is available using any licensed Hospice Agency.

Bayside Care Center

The Bayside Care Center, located in Morro Bay, Calif., offers short- and long-term rehabilitation care services. The center also provides skilled nursing care services for all its residents. It provides various service programs, such as discharge planning services, Medicare hospice programs, comfortable furnished private, semiprivate bedrooms, meals, medication management, scheduling of medical appointments and local transportation services, exercise classes and scheduled religious services. It specializes in podiatry, ophthalmology, dentistry and psychology. Its rehabilitation service programs include physical, occupational and speech therapies and restorative nursing programs. In addition, the center provides a wide range of amenities, such as emergency call system, beauty salon, patio barbecues and enclosed garden walkways. The Bayside Care Center organizes a variety of activities, outings to places and events that include museums, visits to the Harbor Festival, theme parties, candlelight dinners, cooking classes, games and trivia and drives through vineyards.

SpecialtiesGarden House offers lovely bedrooms with personal furnishings or pre-decorated rooms with homey, nostalgic touches. We provide 24/7 full-time compassionate care or temporary stays for respite. Placement in an assisted living home is sometimes the best choice, particularly when the physical care of the person is beyond the ability of the caregiver due to health limitations or physical and/or emotional exhaustion. Many people thrive after placement. Garden House will accommodate both ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents. Each resident will be assessed and an individual plan of care will be coordinated with the physician and a dietician if needed.
