iRENT is a family owned and operated business. Sean Sutterer and Derek Burk founded the company as an affiliate of Sutterer & Burk Real Estate Services, Inc. with its main office located in the heart of Sacramento. Both Sutterer and Burk have extensive backgrounds in sales, a passion for real estate, and success in investment properties and flip homes. iRENT began to flourish in 2011 through purely word-of-mouth and referral type advertising. The two founders made it a solid point to focus on customer service and communication sharing a responsibility and dedication to maintaining a positive identity within the community. In 2012, iRENT retained another Agent to manage a growing company and to assist with the daily management tasks for all properties in the iRENT portfolio. Again, the company grew organically and continued to polish its traditional policies and procedures to better serve the needs of owners and tenants alike.
