History

Known as the City's top producer of working actors, we have helped countless actors land speaking roles in feature films, soap operas, TV series, movies of the week, commercials, industrials, voice-overs and print work. Our actors have appeared in movies like Brothers and Charlie Wilsons War; TV shows like NCIS, CSI, Fringe, 24, The Closer, Terriers and Veronica Mars; and TV commercials for everything from Barbie and McDonalds, to a recent Ipad spot. The COACHING Staff consists of working actors with over 35 years of combined experience in all aspects of film and television acting, coaching, directing, casting and producing. The Studio serves aspiring talent from San Diego, as well as Orange County, Riverside County, Murrieta & Temecula. We offer classes for Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced levels, and have separate acting classes for kids and young teens as well. This is your chance to see what it is really like to be an Actor - and maybe even act in a movie or on TV!

Specialties

Actors Workshop Studios is the only studio in San Diego that provides the A to Z of breaking into the film and television industry. Established in 1989, we have a fully equipped Studio with a 3-Camera Set. We provide training for film, television and commercials - including the craft of acting, audition techniques, breaking down a scene, improvisation, industry knowledge and on-going career opportunities. The acting classes are also great to help people with personal growth, such as self-confidence, public speaking, concentration, memory and interpersonal skills. Our actors perform for top Hollywood and San Diego producers, agents and casting directors from Studios such as New Line Cinema, MGM, Sony Pictures, Universal Studios, Showtime, HBO, Disney, many independent feature films, local and national TV commercials and television shows.
