A.C.T. Young Conservatory

Founded in 1965, American Conservatory Theater is located in San Francisco. Its performance, education and outreach programs annually reach more than 250,000 people in the San Francisco Bay Area. The live theater offers productions, actor training and an ongoing dialogue with its community. Its master s of fine arts program is an actor training programs for new artists. Its Summer Training Congress is a summer program offering professional-caliber training for actors with prior theater experience. The course cover a broad range of subjects, including acting, voice and speech, and movement. It also includes physical classes, such as stage combat, movement, and audition technique. It offers special ticket packages for groups and students.
