Act Out Theatre Company is a prominent youth arts program in Long Beach, CA, offering tuition-free opportunities for at-risk and underserved children and adults to explore their creative potential through arts programming and educational training. With three major productions, additional arts workshops, and a whole-child approach that includes mentoring and community outreach, Act Out Theatre Company is dedicated to enriching lives and fostering a brighter hope for the future.

Established in 2012, Act Out Theatre Company has become one of the largest youth arts programs in the area, serving nearly 250 kids and families each year. Through professional-level community theatre, set design workshops, graphic design workshops, and more, Act Out Theatre Company provides a safe space for participants to engage in arts education while transforming their communities and empowering individuals to become better students and stronger families.

The staff is wonderful! My son really enjoys going to his rehearsals and spending time with new friends. Highly recommend going to their plays and volunteering your time if possible.
