This school prepares young women for college. Hands down that is a FACT. My daughter is at Baylor this year with an academic scholarship. Beautiful school and staff.

Academy of Our Lady of Peace, founded in1882, is a Catholic private school administered by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. It has an enrollment of more than 700 students. The academy enrolls students of all races, color, national or ethnic origin and a limited amount of aid is given to low-income families. It offers advanced placement classes in art history, biology, chemistry, English language and studio art, American history, American government and politics, calculus and Spanish. There are a variety of cocurricular activities including sports, such as volleyball, softball and swimming. Academy of Our Lady of Peace is located in San Diego.

Class of 2000 alum. Love this campus! Beautiful gardens & buildings. If you're looking for a quality education for women, look no further. As a non-catholic I highly recommend this institution....
