Established in 1926 as the Crippled Children s Society, AbilityFirst serves special needs children and adults with autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and other developmental and physical disabilities. Based in Claremont, Calif., it operates in the Greater Los Angeles area. The firm supports individuals with special needs through after school enrichment programs, job training, community employment, accessible camping and affordable and accessible housing. AbilityFirst has received accreditation from The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and the American Camping Association (ACA).

Such a wonderful center with amazing staff. They are treasure for my son and I. There really is no other place like this in the area for children and adults with special needs.
