HistoryVeritas Christian Academy opened its doors for its founding 9th grade class in September 2004. By June 2008, that class graduated from high school, while its first kindergarteners graduated to begin 1st grade. However, Veritas was never quite able to bring in enough tuition and donation funding to pay for the cost of a high quality K-12 classical Christian education and was compelled to close its doors in June 2011. In all, 11 high school students graduated from Veritas, and about 150 other students were affiliated with the school (either full-time, part-time or via home school PSP) at some point over the course of its seven years in operation. The first graduating class at Veritas averaged SAT scores among the top private schools in the county. The school's athletic teams competed for five years, participating in the Bay Area Athletic League for the last four years.

HistoryMySckool was created around the owner's passion and determination to provide limitless opportunities for her daughter to learn and grow. From the moment she was born, the world became her daughter's playground. Allowing her to learn, explore and share from a world view, rather than a classroom view. Wanting this same hope for all kids, she developed MySckool, A community based, speech therapy and educational support private practice. MySckool.SpecialtiesMySckool provides the following services: Speech and Language assessment & therapy Behavioral integration Social Thinking Social Groups Academic Assistance All therapies are provided within the client's familiar environments, teaching and learning through real world experiences, thus allowing them to generalize prior learner skills.
