Founded in 1990, Al Wooten Jr. Heritage Center is a youth and after-school program center providing safe and nurturing environment where boys and girls participate in academic enrichment programs and recreational activities. Located in Los Angeles, Calif., the center houses a computer laboratory and an Ella Fitzgerald library and offers numerous programs pertaining to college academics, tutoring, homework assistance, performing arts center and street soldiers.
