Mary Ann has recognized for years the desire of individuals to remain in their homes, maintaining their independence and dignity. Throughout her career she has incorporated these basic values and helped improve the quality of care provided. She personally experienced caring for her own aging mother for more than ten years. She found it was a constant challenge to find qualified, dependable caregivers and to coordinate all that was needed to keep her mother at home. As this concern grows with our aging population Mary Ann recognized the opportunity to approach this challenge differently. With another nurse she trusted and respected she created A Better Choice, a professional home care services agency.
