101.5 K-Hits launched in January of 2007 on a different frequency. In May of 2013 K-Hits moved to 101.5 FM which provided better signal coverage over the Sacramento market. The morning show on K-Hits is hosted by long-time Sacramento morning host Joey Mitchell. I listen to k-hits, because it plays music I grew up with since the 70s, 80s, and the 90s and I Love 101.5 k-hits.

I love the playlist but the sound quality is inferior to a lot of the stations in Sacramento. I don't know why they don't go HD other than it's probably expensive but the HD quality is so much...

Best radio around. I come to Sacramento a lot. That's all I listen to. Yes I'm an old timer who still listens to the radio.
