About Chamber The Greeley Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit membership-driven organization that exists to promote healthy business growth in the area. To that end, the Chamber provides its members with numerous opportunities to network with other businesses, to advertise, and in essence, to meet their next customer. Members can attend and sponsor special events such as Business After Hours, the annual Prairie Dog Classic Golf Tournament, and the Annual Banquet, as well as advertising in our numerous publications and other venues. To help make Greeley the friendliest place possible to do business, the Chamber also oversees several committees and task forces with diverse areas of focus, from education and diversity to legislation. Members of the Chamber are invited to serve on these committees. The Chamber is also a member of the Northern Colorado Legislative Alliance, a regional effort to influence state policy on certain issues pertaining to business. The Chamber is funded primarily through membership dues, with additional sources of revenue coming from advertising, special events, and donations through the Greeley Chamber of Commerce Foundation. The Boulder County Sheriff s Department s Patrol Section is part of the department s field operations. The section provides law enforcement and peacekeeping services to the unincorporated areas of Boulder County and the towns of Superior and Lyons. The Boulder County Sheriff s Department s primary responsibilities include providing enforcement of laws that relate to crimes against persons and property, as well as initiating investigations into such crimes. It also enforces codes and ordinances pertaining to traffic and parking. In addition, the department participates in programs that are geared toward community awareness and crime prevention. The sheriff s department maintains records and compiles reports regarding emergency calls, types of reported crimes and offender registrations. It also files reports on behalf of residents pertaining to crimes and traffic accidents. The Boulder County Sheriff s Department s Patrol Section is located in Boulder, Colo.
