Women & Children First

Founded in 1978, Women and Children First offers protection to women and children who are the victims of domestic violence. It provides crisis intervention and social and legal advocacy and support services. The organization offers food, shelter, clothing and medicines. Women and Children First also provides 24-hour family advocate assistance services. It additionally offers assistance to women in becoming financially and emotionally independent. The organization provides tutorial, mentoring, early intervention, child care and group therapy services.
