White River Health System

The Stone County Medical Center, also known as SCMC, is a private, nonprofit health care provider that serves patients in Mountain View and surrounding areas in Arkansas. It is a 20-plus-bed community hospital and affiliated with the White River Health System, which is a multifacility health care organization that serves the residents of north-central Arkansas. The parent organization also operates the White River Medical Center and Cave City Medical Clinic. Its health care centers and clinics specialize in the areas of gynecology, urology, pathology, cardiology and oncology. The White River Medical Center s clinics offer a range of services, such as bone densitometry, CT scan, mammography, MRI, X-ray and ultrasound, as well as nuclear and sports medicine. Its health care centers provide physical, occupational and speech therapies and the Fit for Life program.
